Conduct Science Proceedings is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. We adhere to the principles and best practices set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and relevant international ethical codes such as the Declaration of Helsinki.

Editorial Responsibilities

• Editors assess manuscripts solely on their academic merit, regardless of authors’ race, gender, institutional affiliation, or nationality.

• Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by commercial or personal interests.

• Editors ensure a fair, unbiased, and timely peer-review process.

• Potential conflicts of interest among editors and reviewers are disclosed and appropriately managed.

• Editors are responsible for acting on reports of ethical concerns or research misconduct.

Author Responsibilities

• Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

• All authors must have made substantial contributions to the work and approve the submitted version.

• Authors must disclose all potential conflicts of interest and sources of funding.

• Plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, and inappropriate image manipulation are strictly prohibited.

• Proper citation of sources is required, and duplicate publication is not allowed.

Human and Animal Research Ethics

• Studies involving human participants must have received approval from a recognized ethics committee or institutional review board (IRB), with informed consent clearly obtained.

• Studies involving animals must adhere to institutional and international ethical guidelines for animal research.

• Authors must include ethics approval details in the manuscript when applicable.

Peer Review Process

• All submissions undergo Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

• Reviews are conducted confidentially, objectively, and constructively.

• Reviewers must disclose conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when necessary.

• Editors may use plagiarism detection software to screen submissions.

• Currently, our journal employs manual plagiarism screening using free, reputable online tools such as Grammarly and Quetext. As we grow, we plan to integrate automated plagiarism detection systems like Crossref Similarity Check for enhanced screening.

• In the process of plagiarism check, any cases of significant similarity will be reviewed by editors before decisions are made—similarity scores alone are not sufficient for rejection. Detected plagiarism may result in rejection, correction, retraction, or notification of the author’s institution in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Research Misconduct and Retractions

• Allegations of misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, falsification, redundant publication) will be investigated by the editorial team.

• If misconduct is confirmed, actions may include rejection, retraction, correction, or notification to authors’ institutions.

• Retractions and corrections follow COPE guidelines and are clearly marked and linked to the original article.

Appeals and Complaints

• Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a detailed explanation to the editorial office.

• Complaints about ethical concerns or editorial conduct will be reviewed in accordance with COPE procedures.

Data Availability and Transparency

• Authors are encouraged to make raw data, code, and supplementary materials publicly available through reputable repositories (e.g., Dryad, Zenodo).

• Data sharing promotes reproducibility and scientific integrity.

Licensing and Copyright

• All published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.

• Authors retain copyright.

• Metadata is published under CC0, allowing unrestricted use and reuse.

Use of AI-assisted Tools

Authors must disclose any use of AI-assisted tools (such as language models, grammar checkers, or data analysis software) in the preparation of their manuscript. The role of AI tools should be described transparently, and authors remain responsible for the content and accuracy of the work.
