Submission Guidelines

Formatting Requirements

To facilitate a smooth editorial and peer-review process, authors are required to adhere to the following formatting guidelines:

General Formatting

• File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

• Font: Use 12-point Times New Roman.

• Spacing: Double-space all text, including references and figure legends.

• Margins: Set 1-inch margins on all sides.

• Page Numbers: Include page numbers in the bottom right corner of each page.

• Line Numbers: Number all lines consecutively throughout the manuscript to aid in the review process.

Manuscript Structure

Organize the manuscript in the following order:

• Title Page:

Title (concise and informative)

• Full names of all authors and their affiliations

• Corresponding author’s contact information

• Word count for the abstract and main text

• Keywords (3-5)

• Abstract:

Limit to 250 words.

• Provide a concise summary of the study’s objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

• Main Text:

Introduction: Clearly state the purpose and rationale.

• Methods: Describe study design, participants, procedures, and analysis.

• Results: Present findings with appropriate tables and figures.

• Discussion: Interpret results, discuss limitations, and implications.

• Acknowledgments:

Acknowledge individuals or organizations that contributed but do not meet authorship criteria.

• Conflicts of Interest:

Disclose any potential conflicts.

• Funding:

List all funding sources.

• References:

Use AMA 13th edition or Vancouver style.

• Number references consecutively in the order they appear in the text.

• Include all authors up to six; for more than six, list the first three followed by “et al.”

• Tables and Figures:

Place each table and figure on a separate page after the references.

• Provide descriptive titles and legends.

• Ensure figures are high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

How to Cite Articles

Please use the appropriate format depending on your citation style:

Supplementary Materials

• Submit any supplementary materials (e.g., appendices, additional data) as separate files.

• Clearly label each supplementary item.

Ethical Considerations

• For studies involving human participants, include a statement on ethical approval and informed consent.

• For clinical trials, provide the registration number and registry name.

AI Disclosure Statement

In alignment with best practices from leading journals , authors must disclose the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process. This includes specifying the tool used, the purpose of its use, and affirming that the authors have reviewed and edited the content to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Example Statement:

During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [Name of AI Tool] to [describe purpose, e.g., enhance language clarity]. After using this tool, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as needed and take(s) full responsibility for the content of the publication.

This statement should be included in a section titled “Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies” at the end of the manuscript, before the references. If no AI tools were used, this section is not required.
